About the reducing tee

A reducing tee has the same run bore at both ends but a smaller branch outlet. It eliminates the need for a weldolet or a separate reducer on the branch: the size reduction is built into the fitting. Available in any run × branch combination on request.

Equal run bore at both ends; reduced branch outlet
Single fitting replaces equal tee + concentric reducer on branch
Dimensions follow ASME B16.9 with reduced branch M dimension

Factory-Made Wrought Buttwelding Fittings

Covers the full range of industrial butt weld fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, caps, returns) in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel from ½" to 48" NB.

Applies to NPS ½" through 48" (DN 15 through DN 1200)
Schedule wall: STD / XS / XXS plus full SCH range
Radius: Long Radius (LR) 1.5D and Short Radius (SR) 1.0D elbows
Dimensional tables are the only source of 'legal' wall thickness
No pressure-temperature rating: use ASME B31.3 / B31.1 with pipe schedule
End prep: per ASME B16.25 bevel
