About the blind flange

A blind flange closes the end of a flange connection. Unlike a welded end cap, it is bolted and can be removed for access, cleaning, or future connections. Standard at vessel nozzles, test points, and inspection ports.

The global standard for pressure-rated flanges. Defines seven pressure classes (150 through 2500) with pressure-temperature ratings for multiple material groups.
