Overview
Product overview
Slip On Flanges play a crucial role in optimizing piping systems across industries, offering seamless connections and reliable performance.
Understanding Slip On Flanges
Slip-on flanges, a cornerstone of piping infrastructure, are designed to be slipped over the end of a pipe and then welded in place, providing a secure and leak-resistant joint. Our slip-on flanges are available in a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, ensuring compatibility with diverse applications.
Standards and Specifications
Fortune Fittings Private Limited slip-on flanges adhere to industry standards such as ANSI B16.5, and EN1092-1, ensuring compatibility and compliance with regulatory requirements. Available in different face types, including flat face (FF) and raised face (RF), our flanges are designed to meet the diverse needs of various piping systems.
Conclusion
In conclusion, slip-on flanges are indispensable components in modern piping systems, offering versatility, reliability, and ease of installation. At Fortune Fittings Private Limited, we are committed to providing high-quality slip-on flanges that exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

Technical notes
How the component behaves in the line, and the details to settle before an order is placed.
How it behaves in the line
- Two welds required: inside fillet (face side) + outside fillet (back of hub)
- Not suitable for cyclic, fatigue, or vibrating service: weld neck preferred
- Lower pressure rating than weld neck flange at the same class
- BS-10 Table D: suitable for water/air up to ~10 bar; hot water/steam up to 120°C
- Pipe must protrude 1.5 mm beyond face to accommodate inside fillet weld
Confirm when ordering
- Confirm table: BS-10 Table D vs E vs F (different PCD and thickness)
- Confirm bore size matches pipe OD: BS-10 and ASME bore tables differ
- Hot-dip galvanised option for underground or exposed outdoor service
- Gasket: full-face natural rubber (NR) or compressed fibre for BS-10 flat face
Dimensions, wall thicknesses and pressure classes are in the dimension tables; the governing standards are summarised on the standards reference.
